The City of Light is preparing for a historic infusion of West African rhythm. In a groundbreaking cross-generational collaboration, legendary highlife maestro Kojo Antwi and award-winning rap sensation Medikal have been officially announced as the headline acts for the ‘Ghana @69’ Independence Concert in Paris.
Scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026, the concert marks the 69th anniversary of Ghana’s independence from British colonial rule. The event promises to be one of the most significant diaspora gatherings in Europe this year, uniting thousands of Ghanaians and African music lovers for a night of culture, fashion, and national pride.

Known for his witty wordplay and chart-topping hits, the “Stubborn Academy” frontman is expected to electrify the younger demographic of the diaspora with his signature style.
